When @helloexistence came back home to visit we couldn’t resist sneaking in some film shots. Loving the vibe…

Exploring the Mojave with @houseofpositivevibes in Amboy

Love it when my favorite “kids” come back to the desert and let me photograph them, can’t wait to develop the film. @helloexistence it’s always great when you visit.

Okay I definitely did not shoot enough in 2021. But these are my favorites from the year (one is technically 2020, but shot the last week of 2020. Goal for 2022…shoot a ton more. And definitely more film, the film always makes it into my top 10.

At the end of each year I go through the images I took and my personal favorites seem to pretty much stay my favorites. These images range from 2002 to 2019 (I got some good stuff this year, but not necessarily top 10 personal favorites - although a few close calls). It’s a mix of film and digital images…with 9 out of 10 being black and white. I think it time to up my game for 2022…get some new images make it to my top 10…feeling motivated and inspired.

Going through old archives and found these photos of @nettier.harris taken in NOLA in 2009 (and little different than the photo of her and my records). Over the next few days going to be looking over old images, it’s fun to take a look back every once in awhile.

I have lots to share from shooting this weekend, so I’m just going to start with some live shots of the @thevelvicks and @soundandfiore at @palms_wonder_valley_ . Love this place literally in the middle of nowhere.
